This extra virgin olive oil is produced with care by Alexandros and Claire in their village of Lagkada. The dry climate and rocky landscape of the region require extra effort to produce it, but it’s precisely these conditions that give it its exceptional flavors and aromas.

Harvested in November 2024, the Koroneiki olives were immediately cold-pressed, preserving excellent nutritional value and a very low acidity level of 0.3%. The oil was then bottled without the usual filtering process. Green in color, with intense aromas and a slight peppery note, it offers the incomparable taste of an early-season olive oil.

This olive oil, ideal for salads, fishes, and pre-cooked veggies, will be your new ally in the kitchen.

What is an extra virgin olive oil?
Technical aspects define if an olive oil is extra virgin or not. To be extra virgin the olive oil must be produced by a mechanical process with cold extraction and its acidity level must be inferior or equal to 0.8%. Those two characteristics make it an olive oil of superior quality: the monounsaturated fats and polyphenols, naturally present in the olive oil are preserved, as well as its flavours.
