The oregano flower is harvested by Claire and her partner, Alexandros, in the mountains surrounding their village. Picking is done by hand, without uprooting and preserving at least two-thirds of the plants. The oregano bouquets are then dried in the shade before separating the flowers from the rest of the stem one by one.

The oregano flower is thus offered to you in its entirety, reserving the pleasure of crumbling it between your fingers and extracting all the scents and flavors of the Greek mountains.

Claire and Alexandros live in the mountain village of Lagkada in West Mani. In love with this region, they have been living there together since 2020 and bring the village back to life through their many activities.

Harvesting local plants is one of them. These grow wildly in the olive groves that Alexandros is in charge of. The picking of the plants is done by hand, without uprooting and preserving at least two thirds of the plant.

Together, Claire and Alexandros strive to share with you products representative of the unique region that is Mani.
