Claire is from Paris and Alexandros from Thessaloniki, and somehow life brought us together in 2017 in the island of Skyros. It has been a few years now that we have settled in the mountain village of Lagkada in the Peloponnese where we work to bring back to life abandoned groves in the area while striving for a superior quality olive oil.
Our vision is to revitalize the land and community while preserving traditions and flavours. Due to an aging population, lack of workers, and steep and rocky fields, most olive groves have been abandoned. With Alexandros in the fields and Claire managing logistics, we form a dynamic team dedicated to renting olive groves from locals and gradually restoring them to productivity.
We believe in sustainability, community, and sharing cultures. We welcome volunteers from all over Europe to join us for the harvest. Together, we learn from each other, respect traditions, and build friendships. Our principles guide us in making olive oil and creating positive change in the land and the lives of the people involved.
